Mobile ticketing is one of the fastest growing areas of mobile transactions. Whether for a sporting event, a movie, or other entertainment opportunity, distribution through mobile phones is a very cost effective and accessible option for your box office. We were the first to deliver a barcoded mobile ticket in the United States and have continued to evolve and enhance our ticketing platform. Purchasing & Delivery MBO securely integrates into an existing box office, making it a secure mobile one that offers real-time availability, purchasing, and ticket delivery. We can also serve as an additional ticket delivery option by integrating directly you're your online ticketing storefronts. Tickets are delivered via text message (SMS) and/or barcoded WAP page. In order to view the branded ticket page, the patron must use a web-enabled mobile phone, but is not required.
Redemption Each mobile ticket is made up of two parts. First the purchaser will receive a text (SMS) message used for ticket delivery that includes a link to the branded/barcoded ticket. Each contains all necessary event and ticket information for redemption. The Transaction ID or Ticket Number can be manually read and verified or if the appropriate standard scanning technology, the barcode is scanned directly from the mobile phone's screen.
Alternatively, a separate kiosk can be used to scan mobile tickets and print a paper ticket for entry and seating purposes.
Redistribution & Resale Located on each mobile ticket are specific "ticket management" features. Tickets can be redistributed or forwarded to friends, family, clients, or colleagues via mobile phone. In addition, tickets can also be allocated for resale in the secondary ticketing market. Each forwarded or resold ticket is immediately removed from the originating ticket holder's order and device, leaving no duplicates. All integrated marketing, features, or applications are still included on every mobile ticket.
As things happen at the last minute preventing ticket holders from attending events, tickets can be immediately redistributed, eliminating the need to transfer physical tickets. This increases the likelihood of attendance for tickets sold and allows venues to retain per-cap revenue that otherwise would have been lost.
Recycle All of MBO's tickets are "live" vouchers with embedded marketing capabilities. For example, a sponsor logo can be displayed on an event ticket or a coupon can be attached for a local retailer. Instead of a ticket expiring, typically after the event, a secondary marketing opportunity is created. Using information such as venue location, time of day, user profile, or event demographics, the ticket is recycled into a targeted marketing opportunity. In addition, our mobile tickets are considered "live" and are capable of integrating additional applications or displaying real-time information such as marketing messages, event notifications, sponsor logos, driving directions, etc.
