Overview
Gift cards are almost as commonplace as credit cards, and growing daily. MBO can develop text (SMS) message or branded and barcoded mobile gift cards. Our mobile gift cards have the same functionality as traditional gift cards, but with leading edge customer tracking and data mining capability. MBO gives your business the ability to provide gift cards instantly to anyone with a mobile phone.
With MBO, each branded gift card is pulling "real time" information directly from a server and is considered "live". Our "live" capability allows for marketing messages, remaining balance, and additional information to be displayed on each card.
Mobile gift cards are the next step in retail transactions. Imagine being able to include real-time marketing messages directly on the gift card! Redemption Each mobile gift card is made up of two parts. The text (SMS) message used for delivery also includes a link to the branded/barcoded gift card. Each part contains all necessary information for gift card redemption. The gift card number can be manually read and verified. With the appropriate standard scanning technology, the barcode is scanned directly from the mobile phone's screen.
